Eight years ago, when I started writing online, a lot of the opportunities were content mills, etc. I spent so much time and energy writing for what often equaled $3-4 an hour in the beginning. Now there are so many more options for writers.

I wish I had found Medium a long time ago, but at least I'm here. I will keep an eye on these other platforms. Thank you.
