I am truly surprised by how poorly some of the tools performed. Personally, I use Grammarly and ProWritingAid. I pay for the latter, but I also use it to improve my fiction, as it has tools that catch onto errors such as when a word is used too frequently. I have found that the two checkers disagree wildly on comma usage, however, which is amusing to me.
