Yes. One would think. I do know that you aren't supposed to just use the images there without altering them somehow. Stretching them out, adding text, etc.

I also know that a lot of the images on Canva are also on Unsplash, so I don't know how much oversight there is there.

It's definitely a thorny subject. The interesting thing for me, is that this seems to be a uniquely US problem. Maybe Western. It's not something folks from other countries are concerned at all about, and I don't know if a US based photographer can sue someone in India who uses their photos.

As the internet expands everyone's reach, I will have fun watching that one play out.
